Benedict Biscop Church of England Academy in Sunderland and Whitburn Church of England Academy in South Tyneside have been selected by the National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL) to play a leading role in Prince Bishops Teaching School Alliance. This unique cross-phase teaching school of which there are, at present eight strategic partners consisting of an already well-established partnership and existing collaboration. We are currently collaborating with over 500 schools across the North East

Prince Bishops Teaching School Alliance will focus on school improvement across all phases, including a strong emphasis on raising achievement for all pupils.
